About Madison Avenue Greenhouse
Our Story
Madison Avenue Greenhouse was established in 1919. It started as a wholesale greenhouse. Today, we have 9 production houses and one retail greenhouse (house #3) that is open to the public, with the goal of opening up more in the near future. We also have a new gift shop. We are open April 1st-December 23rd every year. January-March we are busy planting for the spring, our busiest season.
What We Offer
We offer a wide variety of plants. In the spring, we offer trees, shrubs, and perennials, as well as annuals and veggie flats. We are known for a beautiful hanging baskets and our 16” geranium pots. In the fall, we offer hardy mums and cold-weather annuals. In the winter months, we have our beautiful poinsettias that we grow in-house. We have many beautiful colors and sizes to choose from.
